Hi Seniors,
I am woriking as H R executive in private organaisation.
My query is that as per pf rule sept 2014. If any employee who is not the pf subscriber and his joining is after 1 sept 2014 and his Basic salary is more than 15000 then he is not eligible of eps.
My present employer is not following this rule. He is contirbuting new employees amount is EPS. I am in a dilema whether it is correct or wrong.
If it is wrong please suggest me how it would be calculation. And what should i do in that case.

Dear Veekkas, Please give details of PF Remittance to ascertain the correctness Entry level EPF Wages? EPS Contribution, whether Employee concerned has become EPF Member Fresh?

Hi Srinath, Thank you for your reply.
New employees (who was not pf member previously) pf contribution is 1800 as his basic is more than 15k. And employers contribution is dividing in epf and EPS 550+1250.
My question is that is it correct to divide employers amount in this way regarding new employee as they are not eligible for eps as per the 1sept 2014 notification.

Dear Veekkas & Sandi Joshi, Please note that based on the information furnished by Veekkas
Employee share of PF Contribution is Rs1,800/- (EPF Wages Rs15,000) Admitting that Employee has become PF Member Fresh/First Time
Epmloyer share of PF Contribution:EPF:550 EPS:1250
This is perfectly in order. Please perus ethe notification which you are referring once again.
If said Employees EPF Wages was more than Rs15,000 & EPF Contribution was more than Rs1,800/-, then it would have amounted to violation of Circulation. But in this case, it is perfectly in order.
