As per telangana shops and establishment we need to give 15 earned leaves and 12 casual leave and 12 sick leaves , but big companies like wipro, infosis etc give 24 or 25 leaves a year .
My company wants to know how are the leave policy framed and if not aligned to Telangana Shops and establishments act. How and why they are not adhering to Telangana Shops and establishments act. Can someone please help me understand how to come up with leaves for an private Hyderabad based company. Do we follow Shops and Establishment act or not required.

The minimum leave any establishment registered under Shops and Establishment has to give employees is mentioned in the Act.
If some company wants to give extra leaves and other facilities, there is no harm and will be a plus point for potential employees to join.

Thank you.
Companies are giving less leaves than mentioned in Shops and Establishment Act, i.e. 15 earned leaves and 12 casual leave and 12 sick leaves .
Hence, I want to understand can we give less leaves than the stipulated ones in the Act.

As long as complying with the S&A Act, is acceptable, if not, it is a clear cut violation, may be prosecuted by the Labour Dept.

As long as there is no complaint, things will be smooth, if there is any complaint, action shall be taken.
