Hi,
Please suggest that how should I maintain the data bank of CVs in email ID... I have some emails/CVs of the candidates sine we have given as ADVERT in the newspaper. We have few branches of our call center. Let us assume branch A, B C and D. Now I am unable to maintain it. I have received so may CVs.
FYI i have to make them calls to conduct the interviews. If they do not pick up the calls, then I just send them an email stating that "Your CV has been shortlisted .......................". In my email ID, i have create some labels like
CCE branch 1
Team Leader Branch 1
CCE branch 2
Team Leader Branch 2
CCE branch 3
Team Leader Branch 3
CCE branch 4
Team Leader Branch 4
Spare CVs.
Not Interrested
PLease suggest that what is the best way of maintaining it...

Hi Shewta,
You can maintain a Excel File with columns such as
Sr.No
Name of candidate
Email Id
Loaction for which received
Date of receipt
Remark ( reply sent on, forwarded to HOD etc)
Reply ( from candidate if any)
Interview Schedule -Yes / No along if date and time if Yes
Final Remark
You can make such columns or edit as your requirement. You can sort the data as & when required location wise to see the latest position or you can give report to your Superior based on your data.
For any query do write to me

You can manage emails as follows:
1. Always request applicants to state in subject line <Designation, Branch No.) and create the same Label and set filter for all incoming mails, the CVs will be placed automatically in relevant folders/labels.
2. Short list applicants and place them in Called folder/label.
3. You can also create a Contact Group by the name of <Applicants> to make communications with with. This will help you to easily find email addresses of the candidates.
