You may approach the local Labour Office where your organisation is located and file a written complaint. You can also write to the State Women’s Commission giving the details thereof.

ESIC is calculated on gross monthly salary of the employee. Employer’s contribution is 4.75% of the monthly gross salary and Employee’s contribution is 1.75% of the gross salary.

Dear friend from Jalalpur,
Normally, the Inspector under the establishment-specific law like the Factories Act,1948 or the State Shops&Estt Act would be the Inspector under the Maternity Benefit Act,1961. So, make a formal complaint to him for non-payment of maternity benefit under the Act. He would enquire and issue directions to the employer if the complaint is maintainable and launch prosecution in case of non-compliance even thereafter.
