I have a query relating to Contract labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.
As there are many amendments in the act done by States, can anyone let me know the applicability, registration and licence fee of the act for the states, Haryana, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Karnataka.

Dear Umakanthan ji,
It is my observation that most of the states Labour Department Portals are not updated. Some time even I noticed the information uploaded is wrong.
I am sorry to say that our Maharashtra, the scenario is very worst.

Dear Sir,
I did that but latest amendments of various states are not available as A.P CLRA Act says, if any establishment or a contractor employs or employed 50 workmen in preceding 12 months then the act is applicable and the fee structure shows from less than 20.
So I have queries regarding acts!
Regards,
Vishnu

Probably the best course would be to collect bare Act with State Rules, latest edition or seek required information under RTI Act.

Hi Annonymous,
Haryana, Andhra Pradesh & Maharashtra act is applicable for 50 or more employees and other states it is 20 or more employees.
Many of the states llabour department websites are not updated, hence you can't relay on this. As suggested by other seniors refer bare act for the same.
Feel free to call or revert for any assistance.
