Audit is basically to check if laid down procedures are been followed or not. If you are following 100% procedures that mean you are ready for audit all the time. Thus, you may need to prepare a checklist for weekly / fortnightly basis to see if all the laid down procedures are been followed at your unit or not.

Hi,
Instead of getting ready in 1/2 hour time, you can have a checklist for all processes in your concern which shall be verified every day and every time for being audit ready always.
And most importantly running factories, running establishments have certainly some kind of dust, waste, unwanted material at the work stations, which needs to be cleared regularly and cannot be done unless frequent monitoring is happened.
It all depends on the pro -active nature of the respective teams.
