I hope you are registered under Shops and Establishment Act. As per the Act you are supposed to maintain a register of PL, Sl and Cl.

Hi Rohini,
For your establishment shop & Establishment act is applicable. 1 Earned leave for 20 working days and 1 SL/CL per month you need to provide to your employees. You need to maintain form F & H.
Feel free to call or revert for any assistance.

Hi Praveen
Thanks for the inputs, presently we are having only 18 Earned leave,
in which at the end of the year (December) we were giving 50% of leave encashment & 50% leaves carry forward to next year.Suppose if employees has 8 days leaves 4 days leave encashment & 4 days carry forward to next year.
By implemetning CL/SL can we continue with the leave encashment every year?
If not what is the maximum EL employee can accumulate
Regards
