I am having a Small Ayurvedha Clinic at chennai and I have registered before 14 years. Only one employee worked with me from the beginning. I have paid PF for him only, because total employee is below 20. Before 6 months that old employee resigned. So I have stopped PF Contribution because total employees are below 20.
Is there any legal consequences is there?
Is there any way to cancel the PF registration No?
Could you pls any one help in this regard.

Unless the company is closed permanent and bank a/c trade licence is surrendered EPF and ESIC can not be closed, but the employer has to submit only 75/- monthly administrative challan to EPF in case of no employee. If any employee joins in future then the establishment has to maintain it on regular basis again.
