From employer perspective, most of the employees benefits are being calculated on the Basic salary. Hence, the focus should be on the Basic salary.
For employees, you can include reimbursements items such as, Broadband, Mobile, Fuel, Leave Travel allowance, Sodexo vouchers, in addition HRA and medical allowance are by default.
The reimbursements items are non-taxable and that employees should submit appropriate bills for the said amounts on yearly basis.
The suggested salary components are below.
Basic,
HRA,
Medical Allowance,
Special Allowance,
Fuel,
Telephone,
LTA,
Broadband allowance
Sodexo vouchers
