My boss asked me whether I am interested to do Registrar of Companies (ROC) activity. He said it includes giving power of attorney and passing resolution in board of meeting of directors etc. I would like to know whether this comes under HR or other function.
I hope you understand my question. Kindly provide me guidance because I have never handled such activity before.

The work is related to a Company Secretary and deals many more things i.e. Holding of Board of meeting, record of meeting transactions, approve of balance sheet of the company and other secretarial matters. To deal one should have certificate of company scretayship and is a statutory post. You can just be a helping hand to the company secretary nothing more, because you will be treated as stranger in eye of law. Working with secretarial depatment will make you learn other facts and functioning of the company.
