Minimum Wages Act 1948 does not specify the HR Executive salary. The Schedule to the Act essentially comprises the blue collar and white collar workman category salaries in certain specified industries. Executive salaries are determined by the companies themselves depending on market conditions and the capacity of the unit to pay. A good guide is the 'Region cum Industry' principle. Look for such data from same industry or from the same region.

Dear Shrinath,
What is the logic of equating HR Executives 'salary with Hskilled worker under Min Wages Act when it does not come under the perview of the Act?.
Let HR Executives salary be determined by industry taking into account market rates, experience and internal parity

Dear Srinath,
Thanks for min wage noti and educating me. If min wages are seperately prescribed for HR Executive, where is the need for equating with H.Skilled worker .
Anyway, the salary of HR who is professionally qualified has to be much more than Min wages.
