Dear Richa Kumari1107,
Feedback collection can be done through a questionnaire (it can be verbal or written) on the training provided.
Training for a team size of 500 should be done in phased manners covering all as per the convenience of the trainer and time availability of the work force.
It can be either class room involving lectures, pictorial description or video presentation.
Involving huge numbers at a time is always disruptive for the trainer, so split them into groups and collect feedback separately for further programs/understanding/effectiveness.

Dear Richa Kumari1107,
One of the best ways to collect feedback is that you can make training feedback format of your own and try to keep questions/statement in 5 rating scale so you can analyze later on later on give it to the trainee at the end of the session. If the number of participants/trainee is more( 500) you divide them into batch/group(generally standard is 20-30 participants ) and enroll them for training.

Dear Richa,
When you ask about "feedback", are you talking about the feedback taken at the end of the training programme? Why you would like to restrict yourself to the collection of the feedback after the training? Do you think that the training process ends there itself?
Whether you collect feedback or not, the degree to which the training programme brings a change that is important. Therefore, what you need is not just feedback but the report from the attendees after six months or an year on how they implemented the knowledge and whether any ratio was increased or decreased, whether any cost was decreased etc.
If your question is on pre-training feedback or information then you need to concentrate on the various ratios and costs associated with your business. Your training efforts should be focused towards bringing change on these ratios or reduction of the costs.
Earlier, I have given exhaustive reply on the post on employee training. The link is as below:

Dear sir,
Thank you so much for the best suggestion. I tried visiting the mentioned web-link regarding employee training, but it was showing that the content has been moved to another location or has been removed. Request you to share other link,if available.
Coming to your question,"Feedback" here I want to know how can I collect feedback from employees regarding the management, pre training (depending on requirement) and post training as well(whether it was helpful or not).
Also, want to know whether one to one meeting with HR is helpful or not? If yes, What should be the time period to conduct (monthly/quarterly/yearly) it?

Dear Richa,
You have said that the link that provided is not working. However, I clicked it, I found it was very much working. Anyway, you may click the following link and refer my reply placed at post No 2:
https://www.citehr.com/523786-traini...ml#post2222367
You may find out what are the critical issues related to your operations or production, what are the quality issues, what are the issues related to the customer satisfaction etc and conduct the training to solve the issue. Therefore, before conducting the training, make sure that your training efforts are directed towards:
a) Increase in Customer Satisfaction Index or reduction in customer complaints
b) Reduction in process turnaround of some process
c) Reduction in consumption of resources
d) Increase or decrease of some ratio
There is no need to ask the participants whether the training was helpful or not. If you are conducting training to solve the business issue or operational issues question about helpfulness of the training does not arise.
For further query, feel free to contact me.
Thanks,
