Dear All, Does a painting contractor need to register under BOCW act? Pl advice.

All those engaged for construction and finishing till completion of work for first time , even painting contractor also (may be petty contractor) to be register under BOCW. Thereafter, rework including painting does not comes under BOCW act .

Thank you sir for your reply.. but definition-2(d), BOCW act does not cover painting contractor/ work..fyi and further advice.
