We have 2 months notice period in our company. An employee has requested for early relieving and suggested buy out of one month as it was an urgent opening and his prospective employer is ready for reimbursement of the same-which would be one month pay for one month notice period buy out. Can we include the notice period buyout details in payslip? So the same can be refunded by the new employer?
Appreciate, if anybody can help with the issue.

You need to prepare the F&F statement of the employee which includes all his payable dues.
Mention the amount of notice period recovery and also for how many days.
The employee pays you the recoverable dues. Then you issue a letter stating that ………. amount has been recovered towards short notice period served and that the same has been settled by the employee.
The employee can submit this document and F&F statement to his new company and claim reimbursement from them.

Dear Friend,
You are seems to accept the buy out of one month. Issue the relief as is in procedure and there is no need to mention all and every thing in the service relief order. Let the relief order give the conduct, work efficiency, best of luck in the future endeavours, and clearly mentioning all other benefits extended on relief. And, certainly not the buy out yet, you can mention the relief is due to the request of the employee.
Further, if you really want to mention, Issue relief order instead of two month notice period one months allowed for relief and one month emoluments deposited by the employee for getting relieved from the services.
And you have every right to do as per procedures.
