Sir,
Some of our employee\'s are asking to continue their ESIC contribution to provide ESIC medical benefits to their family members as they don\'t have any personal mediclaim but employees are crossed the salary ceiling 21k.
Please advise and provide the notification/clarification letter if any.

There is no provision for voluntary coverage under ESI in respect of Employee who have crossed ceiling Limit of rs21,000/-PM.Such of those Employees have to exit immediately either from 1st April or 1st October

ESI Will initiate appropriate action against such Employers.Employer has to apply his mind in coverage/Exclusion of Employee under ESI Act
