Knitting and hosiery is basically machine driven manufacture of specific types of cloth
Penalty for,paying less than minimum wages is that you will be liable to pay the differential wages in arrears, up to 3 years back. Besides the court is free to award interest on the arrears. The penalty apart from this would be ₹7500. I am not sure whether it's per incident (month) or per person per month.
