Hi Guys......
Good Morning:)
I have recently joined a company as a HR Executive.
i have a doubt regarding "PF" please clarify this.
One employee have 3.5 Yrs of exp into Testing. She have a PF account in the previous company.
For the purpose of Marriage she stopped her work and resign to that company.
After 2 yrs she joined our company as a Sr.Tester
My Doubt is :Already she have a PF account so She continue to the old PF account or will open new account PF?
But 5 yrs completed after open PF account.
So this PF account is working or will open new PF?
Please suggest me the solution for this.
I hope will get answers from you guys...
Thanks,
HR.

new pf account no will get generated in present establishment but with Previous company UAN
at the time of registration put the old UAN and other details , as name , dob and father /husband name, it will show the details in old account.
check the same and go forward

Check with her whether she has UAN number or not. If there is no UAN number you can generate new UAN number & if already there is UAN number then you better use the same UAN number

In case earlier PF accumulation has been withdrawn by her, then new UAN has to be generated in present company. .
