Dear Seniors / Members
There are certain business establishment which do not provide ESI & PF facility to their staff even though legally they are bound to provide.
Even they do not issue appointment letters to their employees and pay salary in cash only.
What can be done in these cases.
Pls share your view regarding the same.
Thanks

first of all when we join a new establishment its our responsibility to check background of establishment, which act is applicable & also have to ask question at the time of joining & demand for Offer letter & Appointment Letter. If we want to take an actions,- all communication must be required in written. (Ex.CTC, LEAVE BENIFITS, FACILITIES, MEDICAL FACILITIES, PROHIBITION PERIOD, OFFICE TIMING,INCENTIVE POLICIES). Also we can use such tricks like -do not sign on vouchers so they didn't have any proof of payment. demand for pay slips, wage register entry, etc. We can also write a simple request letter to labour department regarding to verify establishment records & compliance.
