hello everyone,
I am working as an HR in a company ,I always used to get many information from this site, now i wanted to know about ESI and PF more as per Delhi rule
# If a employee getting salary of 7500 (peon) ESI is mandatory but is PF also mandatory
# If labour wages is more than 15000 so ESI is not applicable from both side

Hi Priyanka
I believe the wages of Rs. 7500/- for Peon for Delhi location is less than the minimum wages.
ESI & EPF has same rules across India
If the salary is sure both ESI & EPF is mandatory
If gross wages is above 15000/- the he/she is exempted from ESI but not for EPF

Thanks for reply , one more thing wanted to know we calculate EPF with basic+DA ,if an employee having less that 15000 salary so is he/sge still eligible for PF

PF is calculated on Basic+DA+Retaining allowances
If basic + DA is less than 15000/- sure you have to contribute & once employee becomes member Member then he has to be continued even if his wages is above 15000
