Before issuing Show cause letter there are some certain procedure to be followed. First you should have to ensure whether updating of work schedule is mention anywhere either in JD or mail. If yes & still he/she is not updating then have a proper counselling & you have to record it. Even then if the employee is not following then get the explanation accordingly even later fails issue warning letters & later only show cause letters
