Hi all,
I am newly recruited in international software development company. Its a startup company.previously i was working in Indian Educational institute here i need to arrange every small things from zero.I drafted letter regarding confirmation for one of employee but it wasn't satisfactory to my CEO of company.reason was does not match international standards.can anyone suggest what care should be taken while drafting all letters as an appointment letters, bonafide to certify that particular is our employee, confirmation letter, etc. so that it can match standards internationally.

dear query seeker, you need to be very diligent in drafting the appointment letter of an employee. after all this is the basic document which is going to guide the professional relationship between the company and the employee. there is no scope for verbosity but all the words must have meaning and used with an intent. a copy of the company policies must form part of the appointment letter.

Dear Priya,
The wording of the letter should be synomynom with the company culture and also legally correct. This is the document which will be a bond between the employee and the employer. therefore the letters so drafted will have to be fresh as well as legally correct.
If you browse through the research option on the top of the page with the words Letters. you will get many sample letters, but you will really need to redraft them suiting the culture and the environment of the company.
Eg. IF we are introducing the employee, normally a mailer is sent across, but if you have a peppy and young culture, may be an small 10 line interview, with his likes and dislikes can be circulated, so that the employee is know to all.... Think differently, think uniquely....
