Neethu2012: No act on the experience certificate that is applicable. It’s usually given with the F&F process.

What type of organisation are you working for ?
There is nothing in factory act, but in the standing orders applicable, the process and time limit of giving experience letter is provided. So you need to check whether the standing orders apply to you.
If you are an office or shop, then you need to check the state act under which you fall

Some state's Shops and Commercial Establishment Acts ( Eg Kerala) provides for issuing service certificates on termination of service and for applying for jobs elsewhere.but no such right for a factory worker unless provided in the standing orders.
