salary has to be disbursed as usual during notice period on monthly basis and for the last month you can include the salary in full and final settlement where leave salary, gratuity and other terminal benefits will be paid.

When you get notice of exit from an employee, work out his dues, any thing due from him on any a/c and what is he due from company-PF,Gratuity or ex-gratia,etc.
This notice period is generally used to find out replacement for him, check whether he holds any company property like Car,laptop etc and start process of withdrawing company items.
If he was holding company cash-records of amount spent, vouchers, balance money etc.
His pay will be given normally on month end.

Dear Kavin you can give the salary on the following basis if NP is 2 Months
initial 1 month you can pay on normal salary day and 2nd month salary at the time of F & F that too after getting the NOC From respective department Head.

It is simple, if your going to relieve him instantly give two months salary at a stroke, otherwise keep him paying as usual for current one. Second month salary after working out complete details his credit/debit balance. Also, there is no harm in providing the experience certificate as he has served your organization.
