Joining formailities
When an employee joins after selection the company needs to induct him to work in comfortable manner so that employee settles down,understands company culture,rules,work requirement.Starting from briefing him about the company,products,departments,his department,key people of the company,timings,leave rules,pay and perks, etc.
Filling up of various forms-nominations,details of bank a/c for payment purposes,issuance of mobiles or laptops as per company policy.
All steps necessary to make employee work ready and comfortable in new set up
Similarly exit formalities include all steps relevant to exiting employee-handing over of duties,company property held,checking of property/inventory/pending work of employee.
Preparation of relieving certificates and work experience certificates.
Clearance of dues from employee and dues to the employee.
Up dating of employee database for deletion of name.
Smooth exit for those who leave will give a good reputation to company.
Maintain record of exit interviews for analysis of attrition rates and reasons.
Each company has own rules for these internal formalities.
