Hi friends,
there is no formal salary structure in the company I work. when a staff resigns, management decide to hike his salary by 200-1500, depending on each case. As a result, personnel who have worked for 10 years in the company now draw as much (as little) as a newcomer with 2-3 years experience.
I need help in starting a salary grading system. Please comments welcome.
Thanks
A Lakshmi

hi,
so sad to know bout such kind of salary structure... what then is the objective of such degrading structure. The HRD should then start thinking of a motivational structure in lign with what the company can afford to give per performance base and not just on longetivity.
