Dear Sir/Mam,
To motivate employees , I post "thought of the day" on daily basis to their mail ids.
And on weekend I used to send a motivational short story.
but now from new year I want to implement something new to motivate and encourage employees on daily basis.
Kindly suggest.

Hello Menaka,
Any activity gains popularity, if people get involved by themselves rather than directed by others. You can invite suggestions from your own people regarding thought for the day. Since you have taken the lead till this year, for a change why not they tell the story. Let it be even a movie as long as it gives some moral or anything of entertaining value.
If your Company strength is a sizable number, you can ask them to speak on a topic of their interest (Something other than Company jobs). The frequency can be once a month or 15 days depending on your choice and Management’s consent.
Make sure that you extend all help to make these programmes successful.

Hi, Can u think of a weekly newsletter?u could incorporate motivational thoughts,quality tips by experts,and have a suggestions column,to improve productivity,open to all.

creativity not only instills a zest to work effectively but also gives a platform to showcase the inherent talents ..
remember this while designing any employee engagement activity you must keep this in mind..
sending thought for the day is a nice effort.. but are you sure everybody even opens it.....
lets say you want to stick to the email activity .... and everyone has access to broadband/ wifi/ internet connection(with speed !).
i will suggest you to browse through few short videos ( animated/ short films/ ..) related to HRD/ any topic of your choice.. send it across....asking people to vote it/ rate it/ comment on it .. once you get a pulse of the crowd.. develop you next activity on it .. you may plan the acitvities in 4 phases ( one for every quarter...the successor should be evolved on the predecessor.. !!)
(ps: for starters.. send funny/ ironic videos)
