Hi,
First and Foremost ... A Good Human being only can become an Human Resource professional coz of various reasons.
1. A Piece of paper or certificate make no quality for a HR Person.
The Most important points a HR Professional should have:
1. Patience
2. Politeness
3. Manners
4. Good Listner
5. Good to handle all kinda "Animals"
6. Last but not least : DOWN TO EARTH ATTITUDE"
Coz a lay person can no way have the above qualities coz his day to day activities, pain, trials and troubles, et.. al...
So a HR Professional should understand the "Agony or Pain or Desperation or Frustruation of all Human Beings"
Hope you will agree with me.
Cheers!

Hi varsha!!!
Personality is not the physical appearance of a person but the right attitude a person carries himself with....
The approach of an individual is more important than anything else. An HR individual is supposed to be more humane than anyone else.
Don't follow the typical definition of personality as u know there's a lot of difference in 'reel' life and 'real' life....

I agree with what Shreya said about being humane - it covers the whole gamut of attitudes, expectancies and values that an HR person should have.
Just formal degrees or diplomas do not make an effective HR person. An HR person must have something more - the desire to make employees better in every way and to serve the organisation as best he/she can.

Hi,
I dont think there is any particular Personality of Hr as i been interacting with different Hr of the company.
I Beleive that relevant years of exp with which u r applying the job
secndly if you are presentable smart and good communication, having right attitude towards job .
This are few things which are more considered than body shapes and sizes or body peronalities.
Have a smart and smiling personality all that takes to make good personality.
