Can You Please tell me how the monthly basis gratuity given to the emploee and what is the calculation for that.And please tell me in details about EX-Gratia And how the Ex-Gratia is Calculated

Dear badaveonkar,
Actually Gratuity should calculate on last basic salary multiply with 15days/total working days (26) multiply total yrs of service this is the basic calculation of gratuity
[B] GRATUITY = LAST DRAWN BASIC * 15/26 * YRS OF SERVICE
.The employee who serve minimum 5yrs he should eligible for gratuity at the time of relieving or retirement.Please refer Gratuity Act. you will know.
Ex-Gratia -- company is willing to pay salary to the employee in the case of the employer wants to relieved. Ex-Gratia will calculate on Guaranteed Cash (gross salary) divided by 30days * days of ex-gratia
