Hi,
Employee counselling- first listen to the problems, then analyse and then come with your suggestion.
You need to have convincing skills to convince the employee.
Understanding the employee can happen through observation, getting to know from third person(supervisor, teammembers etc).
Thanks
pallavi.

Hi AM,
We have termed the counselling programme as Employee Assistance Programme wherein we have a Psychologist who visits us on regular basis and addresses the Employee & his family issues.
We did a workshop initially and explanied the entire idea of having EAP, based on the employee/family need they approach the Psychologist.
