Hi,
Due to my personal issues i left XXX 6 months back and i have received experience letter from XXX also. When I planed to work again i attended the interview again in XXX and i cleared 1st round and they scheduled 2nd round. But I got another offer in one of the MNC then i dropped mail to IBM HR stating that i am not able to attend the interview as i got another offer. Even though XXX HR called 4 to 5 times but I did't pick the call.
Because of this XXX HR will give the negative feedback about me during background verification?
my new company having very stringent background verification process.
Please advice

The answer is - No.
Just because you did not participate further in the Interview process; the company can black-list you from its future openings. However, it can not give a negative BG verification report for your earlier stint with them - which is now a closed chapter.
Big and good companies do not indulge in such vengeful acts as your stated apprehensions.
So; Relax and look forward to your next assignment.
Warm regards.

Hi,
There are two dimension involve
1. IBM's own internal policy
2. Behaviour/ attitude of the person giving feedback about you.
If IBM's internal policy does not rate negative feedback on such behaviour, they may not give negative feedback about it. However, many organisation blocks such hostile candidates for future requirement.
About the second attribute, the chances are rare the same person will give you feedback. Further, even if you get negative rating, the hiring organisation will definitely ask clarification for it and I do not think it will stop them to hire you.
Only one piece of advice: Please show professionalism and choose the company you want to join. It may happen that the same HR person or a reporting manager may join other organisation and if his memory is strong, he may not accept your candidature. We must make the bridges, must not burn it.
