Dear friends,
Pl find attached Pension Fund Regulatory & Development Authority Act 2013 as notified by the Govt on 19.9.2013 alongwith its legislative brief for your information.
The Act provides for National Pension System (NPS) to plan for old age security. Employees who joined Central Govt after Jan 2004 are covered under NPS, whereas those who joined earlier are covered under General Provident Fund (GPF). It is different from EPF.
Thanks
