Pl find attached Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers & their Rehabilitation Act 2013 notified by the Govt on 19.9.2013 for your information.
The Act prohibits construction of insanitary latrines and employment of a manual scavenger. It will come into force on such date as may be decided by the Govt by notification.
