Dear Dokhi,
Yes, I agree with Mr Raj Kumar Hansdah that you should protect your employee to the hilt.
However, while writing this, I also would like to say what is the issue at hand? "Fabrication of the case", are these your perceptions? What evidence the government authorities have? Is it just a single case or large number of cases have been filed? Is your top boss has some political leaning and he is paying price for his political tilt? Was any government official rubbed wrong way and now is he taking vengeance?
Lastly, why deviation from SOP was not detected by the management of your company but by the government authorities only?
You need to clarify on all these questions.
