Can a married public sector employee can nominate other person as his pf and gratuity nominee irrespective of a living spouse/wife. In case, child is nominated as a nominee then who can be appointed as his guardian under the provisions of relevant acts eg pf act gratuity act banking regulation act.

Nomination other than family member will not be issue as far as the Employee is alive & will get PF & / or Pension amount by himself / herself.
But in case of death of nomine & legal successors will be different. And court order will determine who is legal successors of the deceased employee by way of issuing " Succession Certificate ".
