Inspection Of Lift- Under Factories Act Or Lift Act ?

My organisation, which also come under the defination of Factoriy under Factories Act, has established Lift . We used to get the Lift inspected under Factories Act, 1948 at the interval of six month. Now I want to know that wether inspection is also needed under Lift Act? Wether inspection is needed under both the Act ?

Dear Kashyap ji,
Inspection is must under Factories Act.1948 at regular interval if your establishment covered under the Act. For inspection under lift Act, whether it is required or not, you can contact manufacturer of lift. They can provide the solution of your query.
