Hi Everyone,
I am working in HRD in a capitive center for an US based Business Improvement Company. At present we have 12 days CL and 18 EL leaves as a policy. The CL is credited in advance every year and EL is credited after probation end of every quarter. The leave calendar is Jan-Dec.
We are looking at revamping the leave policy to match the industry standards.. can anyone let me the leave details and policies of leading companies in India.
Thanks and Regards,
Raghu

Your leave policy is in line with requirements if the law as far as total leave days and crediting mechanism is concerned.
The leave must match the rules of shop and establishment act. So please have a look at the act applicable to your state and ensure that the number of PL and CL falls in the requirement. Further, if ESIC does not apply, then you may need to allow certain number of Sick Leave days.
