Hi Team,
I have a query related to internship ans employment.
I was under an internship and the offer letter for the same stated that the company on successful completion of the said internship will provide employment. However due to some incident I was terminated from that internship and in that case I was not the employee of the company. However I was handed over a termination letter which should not have been given.
Addition to this during the internship from my stipend deductions under Group Insurance and PF were also made as if I was an employee.
I am not sure can I file a court case against the company on these grounds.

Dear Vishal ji,
You can file a case against company and you may win it also. But think what you will achieve from it. You will have to spent your precious time, energy and money on it. Over it, mental unrest will bring you down every day.
You have a ground to fight on one or two lapses by the company.

Dear Korgaonkar

It is not just the matter of getting terminated from the job and I do not have any problem filing a case.

It was a job after an education program and internship was the part of the same for which a bond was signed and loan was provided. Due to this my money went in vain as I cant not get the certificate from the educational institute because of this happening during the internship time. Also it put me under immense mental trauma by telling me that I can not access my things only on oral instruction from the HR nothing being communicated to me in writing until my last day. For a week I went to the office and was doing nothing with a fear of losing the job and that too without even getting the certificate for which I paid Rs.3 Lacs.

Can I not sue the company for putting me in a state of such mental trauma that every one was asking question why I am in a different office and that too without any work for whole week. Can I also ask for the compensation for this?

Are these the valid grounds on which I can file a case because my parents are asking to get various details which will be required for it.

Thanks for the inputs though.

Regards

Vishal

Dear Member
The information provided by you seems to be incomplete such as ,
1. Why were you terminated by the company.
2. You signed a bond of Rs. 3 lakh with whom
3. Have you completed the internship period.
As you are not throwing any light on the situation as to why the company decided to terminate an Intern, it is very difficult to suggest if you should file a case against the company.
Please share the entire details truthfully and then you may get the proper guidance from other members of this forum.

Dear Vishal ji,
As I said, You can file a case against the company. You have a ground to fight. You need to approach a good advocate with all the documents with you. Do not hide any thing from advocate. This forum, according to me, advise you not more than this. Any advise on the issue of law, it is not appropriete to comment without seeing / reading (in between the lines) all the documents.
