Dear Seniors,
Greetings for the day...
I am a post graduate in HR with 3 years and 9 months of experience in this domain. Have put hands on various functions viz Recruitment to exit of employees. I have managed a BPO center(Ahmedabad) with an average of 600-700 employees as the HR SPOC. I had to take a break last year in April due to family reasons and now am looking out for a better opportunity since long. Its been a year now since I took a break.
Seek your guidance on the above so as to facilitate my search for an opportunity that will help to learn and grow.
Regards,
Ms. Mehta

Dear Ms. Mehta,
Accentuate as there is no wrong/harm intensifying your gaps to the employer as long as it is genuine. All you need to do is to set-down a resume that accurately cover the gaps with a consistent explanation (Just in case, worked as a freelance HR during the course of time). Weigh up as you have now made arrangements and will have no barriers to a long-term commitment to your new job earned.
Positive life changes are completely acceptable things to list it on your job applications -- Any family reason volunteering to your block is an acceptable motive and as long as you can explain these gaps with an activity (likely only when you say that are key contributions) that shows your productivity.
Just a hint, It is only the way HOW you explain a potential employer which makes the difference.
All the best......!
