Dear All, I have some doubts regarding Holiday Allowance. In My CTC they didn't mention any Holiday Allowance Package.
But in Annexure they mentioned as "Holiday Allowance is the payable maximum up to INR 50,000 spread over 12 months."
Kindly Clarify whether this amount is claimable???
Thanks in anticipation.

Dear Sethu
Rs. 50,000/- has been included in your total CTC package ? If Yes...this may refer to Leave Travel Allowance.
This component carry Income Tax Benifits for employees subject to conditions laid down in IT Act, for further information may refer the link

Dear Sethu,
Actually your employer should not mention Holiday Allowance in CTC.
If mentioned, you can't claim the same in any way. You can automatically get the same if you attend your duties on Declared Holidays subject to a maximum of INR 50,000 per annum.
