Dear Sir, I would like to discuss my current situation with you on that basis please let me know what should i have to do??

I am working in Engineering company since establishment of unit in India.

I am looking HR/Personnel/Administration process and MR for ISO 14001.

I am single person for above all process.

We have 50+ employees including Contract Labour. We have a core team. It is consisted of 6 member from different department unclusive of Purchase, Store, Quality, Assembly, Assembly and HR. This core team drive the company and taking important decision.

I am getting less salary compare to all four team members, those who are belongs to production line. I discuss to my mangement about my profile and importance of it because management is foreigner but they are not ready to fulfill my appropriate requirement.

Now, i feel depression from it. Even though doing all input, i am not getting out put.

So, i request you what should i have to do?? Should i leave the job?? Please reply ASAP..

Dear Parimal

There is no information on your qualification and experience.

How long have you been with the company ?

What is the profile of the other persons in the core team with whom you are comparing yourself ??

You say - Even though doing all input, i am not getting out put.

What kind of output do you mean ??

If you are not giving output; how will the management reward you ??

Or do you mean Money/salary as output ??

Have you compared the industry norms of salary of HRs who are at your level ??

What makes you feel you are underpaid ??

As a matter of fact, there is no one who thinks he is overpaid. So this feeling can be imaginary.

Why are you feeling depressed ?

You dont need to carry this feeling whole day and night to let the stress build up inside you.

Through away this load of garbage from your mind, and start thinking afresh on how you can improve yourself, your performance and your personal life.

Let me assure you that being an HR for just 50 employees (that too including the contract labour) is no big deal. In fact, many Indian companies would not even employ an HR person if they had to deal with only 50 employees !!

Start thinking positively; there is a lot in life to feel grateful and being happy about it. We are all here to help you achieve your goals in life.

Warm regards.

Dear Parimal,
sorry for replying late, as per the roles and responsibility that is provided by yourself is good and the place where you can learn a lot, some works are beyond HR work, but don't worry you learn and make command over specified works. What kinds of attitude of your seniors and your colleagues if they are in supportive nature then be associated with this organization or if theirs attitude is not supportive then try for new job. Not depressed, depression will kill your skill and healthiness of your mind. This will affect you and suffer stress and burn stress.
Best of luck along with bright future.

Dear Parimal
I have gone through the JD submitted by you.
These functions are performed by every HR Executive in any organization - from freshers to several years of experience.
Its human nature that one finds his own job as complex and laborious; whereas others'appear to be easy and fun.
It would be difficult to ascertain whether you are underpaid or not without knowing your CTC, industry norms; your company's size, location and compensation policy.
At this point of time; all I can suggest is to develop a healthy attitude towards your work; stop comparing yourself with others and remember that there are other benefits too which are not financial. You can also keep looking for better prospects and opportunities.
Wishing you the best.

Dear Parimal,
Don't think you need to be depressed. Looking at your career, you have a good stability, expertise in both Admin and HR role so need not be worried by comparing. Each dept. personnel have their own risk so enjoy your work and there are many companies who open up their hands to welcome you. so satisfy yourself with environment or can look for change which can satisfy your needs.
