Yes People registered with ESIC will cover Medical benefit even arised due to pregnanacy since first day of their joining and Cash benefit for Maternity will starts after 9 months of their joining with a condition that they should worked for 70 days in the respective contribution period......
Where is your office in Hyderabad. If possible why dont u arrange an awareness campt to your employees through the concerned ESI Official such as Inspector/Branch manager available at Branch Offices.

Maternity Benefit (MB) : Maternity Benefit for confinement/pregnancy is payable for three months, which is extendable by further one month on medical advice at the rate of full wage subject to contribution for 70 days in the preceding year.
Maternity Benefit is payable to an Insured Woman in the following cases subject to contributory conditions:-
Confinement-payable for a period of 12 weeks (84 days) on production of Form 21 and 23.
Miscarriage or Medical Termination of Pregnancy (MTP)-payable for 6 weeks (42 days) from the date following miscarriage-on the basis of Form 20 and 23.
Sickness arising out of Pregnancy, Confinement, Premature birth-payable for a period not exceeding one month-on the basis of Forms 8, 10 and 9.
In the event of the death of the Insured Woman during confinement leaving behind a child, Maternity Benefit is payable to her nominee on production of Form 24 (B).
Maternity benefit rate is 100% of average daily wages.

Meri wife Aug 2017 se private company me joining ki thi pr esic me entry 1 dec 2017 se start hai or sath pregnant ho gyi thi .. wo regular job pr jati rhi hai ... Ab unka 9th month start hogya hai ... Jo ki kbhi bhi delivery ho skti hai ... me Unhe ab maternity leave ka fayda kaise dila skta hu .... Iske liye mujhe kya krna chaiye .... Esic me hmne abhi tak koi form submit nhi kiya ...ab aap hi suggest kre ki me unhe maternity leaves kaise dil paunga
