Hi Everybody,
I joined in MNC as a Contract employee, while joining management told my contract period is 5 months and they extended for one more month. it mean\'s totally 6 months 1 week. My basic salary was - 6346/-. This is my first job, I don\'t know about the calculations of PF. Could any one tell me the PF amount how much i will get after finishing up of Contract.

I doubt that contract employees get the PF benefit. But if it is mentioned in your contract then it would be 12% of your basic salary.

Thanks for your reply,
762 /- (12%) was deducting as a PF amount for every month.
But i don't know how much amount i will get by the end of contract. whether it is 12% of all 6 months 1 week or below that.

In that case you shall receive Employee Contribution – 12% on Basic Employer Contribution - 12% on Basic Rate of interest on it of 8.5 % on it.

Hi Guys,
Employee Contribution – 12% on Basic
Employer Contribution - 12% on Basic. This contribution is directed to the two contirbution i.e., EPF(8.5%) and EPS(3.5%) schecme.

Hi Daya,
All the employees both contractual or permanent will have PF benefits. That would be like
Employee Contribution PF - 12%
Employer Contribution PF - 3.67%
Employer Contribution EPS - 8.33%
You may claim your PF amount.

Now E - PASS BOOK facility of PF Account is available in official web site of EPFO. You will get a latest detailed statement of our PF account including the month wise contribution details, available balance, amount in pension fund etc. You can download E - PASS BOOK as follows :

1. Visit EPFO site.

2. Select ' Member Portal (Download your E- Pass book)'

3. Register your account in member portal

4. After registration you can login using your document number and mobile number.

5. In your home page you have option to DOWNLOAD E- PASS BOOK

6. Select DOWNLOAD E- PASS BOOK option

7. Select State, EPFO Office and enter your PF number

8. Click GET PIN option and you will get the PIN in your mobile.

9. Enter your PIN in the space provided at the bottom of the page.

10. Please select the option Request for E-PASS BOOK and you shall be intimated on SMS after three days when the same is available. After

receiving the SMS or after 3 days of registration your E - Pass Book will be ready in member portal and you can easily download the same.

Your basic is 6346/-, on your basic, PF deduction is Rs.762/- p.m. and same will be from employer side. It means PF+EPP total amount is Rs.1523/- p.m. x 6 months will be 9138/- + some interest on contributed amount i.e. 8.25% from PF govt side.
