12 reasons for you to think about now for a brighter tomorrow
Not all people have a smooth and happy life. Many struggle to make things happen in line with their expectations. Not all are born lucky. Some have relationship challenges, some have money problems, some have health issues, still others have emotional turmoil and are angry and upset with themselves or with others.
Yes, every person is different and every life situation too is different. There are hundreds of problems and all of them cannot have just one single solution. So the one-size-fits-all approach may not be the right approach. But when we closely examine certain aspects of human life it becomes much more clear that majority (Average & Poor Performers) of people who struggle have certain common approach to their ways of doing things routinely. The minority of top and good performers do it very differently.
1. The majority think routine and refuse think outside the box
2. The majority do not anticipate the likely future
3. The majority work on things that is not in their control
4. The majority complain but fail to look alternate solutions
5. The majority do not ask questions and explore opportunities
6. The majority tend to not empathise with people and their feelings
7. The majority focus their efforts on weakness improving while ignoring their strengths
8. The majority are unaware of their negative attitudes or if aware, do not know how to deal with it
9. The majority are ignorant of their true personality strengths derived by heredity and upbringing influences of the environment.
10. They majority do not focus on getting the best out of their hidden strengths since they do little to find out their true strengths and capabilities
11. The majority are poor team players and do not know how to tap into other people’s strengths by appreciating their differences.
12. The majority are not ready to adapt to the ever changing dynamics of the world around.
We can keep listing many more dimensions, but we need to focus and speed up so that we can benefit. Happiness is our birthright and our happiness is in our strengths, not in our weaknesses. Our happiness is in appreciating other people’s strengths and not in criticizing them for their faults. Let us resolve to make change for the better from now on.
I am sure you do not wish to be like the majority and struggle. You can turn around your situation however hopeless at this point in time, into one of hope and growth only if you work on your strengths. Do an objective analysis of your attitudes and work to change your attitudes for reaching effectiveness. Learn about your unique and special personality which is a combination of heredity and environment influences.
You will be glad you enhanced self awareness. This new discovery of self awareness gives you the confidence to forge ahead in your life and career. Faster you realise the quicker your progress. Make a difference to yourself NOW and help empower your life potential.

Very true!
If only people realized that they really do not need to struggle very hard by changing first their mental models and thoughts, which impacts their whole physiology, behavior, and attitude!
By building on their strengths and transferring those skills that make them good in one area to other areas of weakness (I prefer to call them developmental opportunities or areas for development), by enhancing their self-awareness through different tools, feedback, and other, by focusing on what they want instead of what the want to avoid... takes them on a rich and fruitful developmental journey...

Quite interesting. I would like to share my views from my perspective. Since i am Muslim practicing ISLAM only with a hope to convince Allah so that ALMIGHTY can shower his mercy and bless me with proper guidance, helping me to live a better life in this world and after death. Then, i don't have to struggle hard.

@ Mshebaya - You are absolutely right. We HELP (Help Empower Life Potential) through CARE (Changing Attitudes Reaching Effectiveness) and as Behavioural Trainers we give emphasis on BAT (Behaviour, Attitude Thought) starting with bringing change in Thought process.
@ SKhadir - The phrase God helps those who help themselves often quoted for the importance of taking initiatives. I recollect the Arab Proverb - Trust in God but tie your Camel - based on Prophet Muhammad saying these words.
