Can anybody please detail me about the rule of PL, SL, CL. It is very urgent. We, at InSync are going to implement few anew leave rules. The existing format is as below :-
• Privilege Leave :- For planned leave or when applying for a longer period of time, it should be applied from PL. One cannot club PL & CL while applying for leave.
• Casual Leave :- You cannot take more than 2 days of CL at a time. CL should be approved leaves which means your leave has to get approved before you go for leave.
• Sick Leave :- if you are even sick for a day, apply through Sick Leave and if you are absent for more than 2 days for not being well, providing supportive document is mandatory. Otherwise, it won’t get approved.
Kindly let me know.

Hi Somparna :
In my organisation we have 12 PL, 6 SL, 6 CL. CL & SL lapse at the end of the year i.e. 31st Dec and PL can be c/f upto 25 days and balance in excess gets lapsed. We do not give credit advance leave it is accumulated every month @ 1 PL, .5 SL, .5 CL.
You have defined the leave guidelines pretty well. By the way I had a query is it PL & CL cannot be combined as per statutory compliance or is it just the policy of your company?
Hope my info would be useful to you.
Regards,
Gia
