Hi Neha, as per my count there are nearly 52 labour laws. There could be a couple of more depending on the industry and the State.
A HR person needs to be familiar with all of them, be thorough with the ones applicable to your industry.

You are correct. The Bonus Act shall be the Payment of Bonus Act 1965.thanks for correction. Further the Industrial Disputes Amendment Act 1982 has become part of the Industrial Disputes Act 1947 and the Employees' Family Pension Scheme and EDLI Scheme s were framed under the P.F Act 1952 and shall be available with the bare Act in case of some publications.
