Dear Sreeharisri,
First and formost please identify hazards related to all chemicals.
Communicate the hazards to all concerned.
In lab while performing various tests there must be some dos and donts, identify them and communicate.
Also check compatibility of chemicals while storage and use.
Set disposal procedures
After hazards are identified bring risks to less than acceptable level.
In case you require any other information pl let us know.
Thanks & Regards,
Sudhr

Dear members,
Nature of Bioscience lab is very different from a chemical or any other laboratory, Primarily it depends on kind of microorganisms we are dealing with, ex: swine flu virus testing labs should be of BSL3+ level
As I have been associated to bioscience business only, I can share few of my real time experiences, Kindly answer my queries:
1. Which kind of lab is yours, Diagnostics(Traditional or Molecular) or Testing() ?
2. Nature of work, type of organisms involved?
3. Whether working with human samples or not?
4. Space available?
5.Contagious stuffs like H1N1, MTB or HIV virus is of concerned or not?
