Sir iam Ramesh from chennai i want to know from when the service tax @ 12.36% applicable is it from 17.03.2012 of from 1st April 2012 please give me your suggestion thank U

as far as we know from June01, 2012 Govt. of India lowered the service tax to 3.09 from 12.36 out of this 25% payable by the service provider and 75% to be paid by the one receiving the service.
