Dear friends,
Govt has decided that in case of missing employees/pensioners, family pension may be granted to next eligible member in the family after six months from the date of filing FIR, subject to terms & conditions prescribed from time to time in this regard. Prescribed Indemnity Bond has also been modified suitably. Copy of communication in this regard is attached for information.

i think, its not applicable to employee covered by EPS 1995 or before that. As its clearly mentioned that Admistrative departments/ministries Etc means Govt Bodies. i may be worng. please is someone clarify it.
