Liquid chlorine has got high thermal expansion. With rise in temperature thevolume of tonner start rising.80% volume corresponds to 15 degree centigrade. As the temperature rises it start going up.The tonner becomes full at 67 Degree centigrade .With further rise intemperature the tonner buldgesgive some time to take action to release some quantity to the system.Incase release is not done the tonner will explode and damage the people or the atmosphereas chlorine is a respiratory hazarda and affect the human being, animals and vegetation equally.Pl go through my presentation for further details.
