Thank you Mr. Sudhir.
It is a timely presentation. From 22 September onwards I am suffering from Low back pain, further hospitalised and then had 2 months bed rest. Recently only I resumed my duties. Surely I will follow the instructions given in the presentation.
Your concern over our health is really amazing and keep on sharing Mr. Sudhir
God Bless you dear.

Dear Saunee
Initially I felt pain, while wearing my dress after bath in the morning hours. But I neglected and keep on going to office for about 8 days. When the pain crossed the tollerable limit, I went to hospital and consulted Orthopaedic Surgeon. He advised me for Bed Rest and MRI Scan. In that MRI Scan only I came to know that there are compression in my Spine took place in 4 places (C5-C6, D12-L1, L4-L5 and L5-S1) and L4-L5 Disc got teared. But Doctors advised me for bedrest and I was in bed for 2 months. Presently I am doing Exercise only and I am not sitting continuously for more than 30 minutes. Now I have reduced 3 kg weight and I am trying to reduce atleast another 10 kg to keep myself heal and healthy.
Please consult a good doctor, who can advise you in better way.

Thank you for sharing the presentation. I am yet to open and look at it, hence no comment as yet on the content. Back ache and other musculoskeletal diseases are not included in the list of occupational diseases in Indian laws- may it be list of NOTIFIABLE diseases in Factory Act or list of diseases fro which compensation may be claimed in ESI Act and E.C.Act. There is need to make demand with the labor ministry to accept ILO list of Occupational diseases as revised in 2010 which is very comprehansive

Dear Sudhir,
I have seen the presentation. My only suggestion is (Pl.refer Slide #3), when you give data, pl. give reference of the source or country for which the data is. In absence of it some may use it as Indian data. Also pl.add, what I have already mentioned- it is not compensable or notifiable disease.
AS requested by you I am attaching ILO list as revised in 2010. It is available on ILO site also
